Blocked drain plumber from The Blocked Drain Guys arriving at a job in Jannali

Need A Plumber To Unblock Your Drain in Jannali?

Jannali is a well-established suburb with plenty of older homes and mature street trees, and it is those trees that are responsible for a large number of the blocked drains we clear here. Liquid ambers, jacarandas and large natives are all common in Jannali gardens and streets, and their roots do not respect property boundaries or pipe locations.

If you have any significant tree within 15 metres of your home, there is a real possibility its roots have already reached your sewer line.

We also see a lot of hair and grease blockages in Jannali bathrooms and kitchens, the kind that build up slowly over months and then suddenly cause a complete backup.

If your shower drain is getting slower and slower, or your kitchen sink is taking ages to empty, that is the time to call rather than waiting for a full blockage. We are local, we are fast and we will tell you exactly what is causing the problem before we start any work. Call us for same day service.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a blocked sewer and Craig from The Blocked Drain Guys came out straight away. He was fair, honest, kind, and cleared the problem quickly. Highly recommend them for fast and efficient service – thank you Craig!

For context, before calling Craig we had contacted another company (Dans Plumbing). While they partially cleared the blockage, they then tried to pressure us into unnecessary “repairs” with a ridiculous $17,000 quote, making false claims about damaged pipes. We refused, but still had to pay $1,250 for their overpriced call-out.

In the end, Craig solved the issue properly without the nonsense. If you want genuine service without being ripped off, go with The Blocked Drain Guys.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Craig was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. He was incredibly patient, took the time to explain everything clearly (and I had a lot of questions!), and made sure I fully understood what was going on. His work was super thorough, and he managed to clear my blocked drain on the same day—which was such a relief!

On top of that, his pricing was very reasonable, especially for the quality of service provided. I’m so grateful and will definitely be using Craig as my go-to plumber from now on. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a plumber they can trust!

FAQS For Blocked Drains In Jannali

Find answers to common questions about blocked drains

What causes blocked drains in Jannali?

Jannali experiences blocked drains from several local factors. These factors together make blocked drains common in this part of the Sutherland Shire.

Are tree roots a common problem in Jannali?

Yes, tree roots are one of the main causes of blocked drains here. Mature trees in the area have root systems that infiltrate drainage pipes. Even if trees aren’t on your property, roots can travel underground to reach your drains. CCTV inspections can identify root intrusion early.

How does Jannali’s location affect drainage?

Jannali’s location in the Sutherland Shire brings specific drainage issues. Combined with local soil conditions and infrastructure age, these factors contribute to blockages. Professional assessment helps identify location-specific problems.

Do older homes in Jannali have more drain problems?

Yes. Older homes generally experience more drainage issues as pipes age. If you’re experiencing recurring blockages, aging pipe infrastructure may be the cause. Pipe relining can restore old pipes without excavation.

Do you service Jannali and surrounding Sutherland Shire suburbs?

Yes, we cover all of Jannali and the surrounding Sutherland Shire. We’re based locally and understand the specific drainage challenges of this area. Our team typically arrives in Jannali within 60-90 minutes for emergency blocked drain service.
